Board of Directors
Larry Jang is the President of the Board of Directors for New Measure Orchestra Society (NMO). Musically, his background is in drums and percussion and most recently, guitar. When Larry isn't serving the society or board's needs, he is a pharmacist who graduated from the University of Alberta. Additionally he is a Certified Asthma Educator (CAE), a compounding pharmacist and he manages the Save on Foods Pharmacy location in Magrath, Edmonton. Larry is also a photographer for J² Studios in Edmonton. Larry has a multitude of interests which he entertains on his past time including mountain biking and the outdoors.
Ricky is the Vice President of New Measure Orchestra (NMO). Like most of the board members Ricky is also an alumnus of Singing Strings. Ricky is passionate about the performing arts, in fact he studied theatre arts at Grant MacEwan University. Ricky currently works for Shaw Communications as a technical support representative, and is also an advisor for World Financial Group.
Jordan is the Secretary for New Measure Orchestra (NMO). Jordan has played piano for 15 years and is currently in his final year of Biomedical Mechanical Engineering. Jordan is also an avid sports enthusiast and a dedicated volunteer within the community of Edmonton.
Graham Archibald is the Junior Representative for New Measure Orchestra.
Jeremy Yii is a Member at Large and Event Coordinator for New Measure Orchestra.
Darren Yu is the Member at Large and Website Manager for New Measure Orchestra (NMO). Musically, Darren has played the violin for 15 years and is a former member of Singing Strings. Professionally Darren is a Programmer who graduated from Computer Science at the University of Alberta and is currently employed with Enbridge. When Darren is not playing violin or developing software, Darren entertains his many interests which include squash, hockey, culinary delights, and photography.
Jessica Lieu is a student at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Science. She is the Secretary for the New Measure Orchestra. Jessica has completed Grade 8 piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music and Level 10 violin with EPSB Music Enrichment Program. Jessica also likes to read, do hot yoga and play badminton in her spare time.

Christina Jang is a violin and piano teacher who enjoys teaching both on the north and south side of Edmonton. She is also the Artistic Director of the New Measure Orchestra (Youth) group and enjoys the position immensely. It is one of the most gratifying positions she has ever held! Christina is a graduate from University of Alberta with a Bachelors of Education (Secondary Route), has an Associate Diploma of Performance from Conservatory Canada on violin and Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 10 Piano. In her spare time, Christina enjoys all types of arts & crafts such as card-making, making beaded and fabric flowers, scrapbooking and photography... just to name a few!
